Native Higher Education Insights is a new webinar series hosted by
American Indian College Fund President Cheryl Crazy Bull
SESSION 2

Join American Indian College Fund President & CEO Cheryl Crazy Bull to hear the inside scoop on the status of Native higher education during 3 special virtual sessions. In this post-COVID crisis era, many things have changed in the education environment – and we would love to share with you a little more about how both Tribal Colleges and Universities AND our scholars are faring.

Thursday, May 9, 2024 (11am PT/2pm ET)
Our second briefing will focus on external factors that are greatly impacting many students’ ability to access higher education, particularly Native students. We’ll provide a brief update on how the delayed release of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) could have a long-term impact on current and future college-going students, as well as institutions. We’ll also dive into how broad interpretations of the SCOTUS affirmative action ruling could greatly impact access to higher education as we are already seeing shifts in funding and donor behaviors, as well as share post-COVID challenges AND successes in Native communities.
